Lipocine has developed a rapid screening program called Insoluble Drug Screen (IDS) that is designed for companies that need to efficiently assess several discovery stage compounds to determine if absorption issues can be addressed. Our experience is that many promising poorly water soluble candidates are rejected early in the discovery process that may be saved with the application of Lipocine technology. Conversely some poorly water soluble candidates are pursued that could have been terminated. Lipocine technology can also be useful under this situation to conserve resources
